Chapter 1: Initiation

The time streams shimmered like liquid gold, constantly shifting and reweaving, intertwining the past, present, and future. In the midst of this ethereal space, a rather unique figure stood out – Allen, a majestic horse with a gleaming metallic hide and a mane that sparkled with starlight. Unlike other creatures of his kind, he was not a steed to be ridden but an enforcer of the laws of time. The last of his training simulations at the Interstellar Time Enforcement Academy had been cleared, and today, Allen was to be officially anointed as a Time Cop.

His initiation was to take place in the main hall of the Academy, a vast chamber with walls inscribed with the histories of countless worlds. Illuminated by the soft glow of temporal crystals, high-ranking officers and fellow cadets gathered to witness the ceremony. Allen's equine chest swelled with pride as he stepped onto the dais, his hooves clinking softly against the metal surface.

Commander Lyria, a formidable being with translucent wings and eyes that mirrored the depth of the cosmos, approached him. She held a badge fashioned from a fragment of a collapsed star. The emblem symbolized the great responsibility that came with policing the universe's timelines. "Allen," she began, her voice echoing in the silent hall, "today you embark on a journey like no other. Time is a fragile entity, and those who dare to tamper with its flow are a threat to all civilizations. As a Time Cop, you swear to uphold the integrity of time, to safeguard its course, and to ensure that its laws are never broken."

Allen nodded, his crystalline eyes reflecting his determination. "I swear on the constellations of the universe to protect the sanctity of time." As Lyria affixed the badge onto his flank, an overwhelming surge of knowledge and power flowed through him. He was now connected to every time stream, every wrinkle in the fabric of the universe.

With the ceremony concluded, a holographic screen materialized before him. It displayed his first mission: to intercept a rogue time traveler in the Earth year 1940. As the specifics of the mission loaded, an unexpected message blinked into view: "Time anomaly detected. Immediate intervention required." Allen's heart raced as he realized that this was no ordinary first mission. The very fabric of time was in jeopardy, and he was diving into its chaotic depths headfirst.
